We offer tours for school children ...

... adults and professionals.
Tours
Tours of the Environmental Technology Center offer the potential to learn about a wide range of fascinating topics, such as renewable energy, environmentally friendly building materials, passive and active solar design, and the efficient use of energy.
Since the ETC is used extensively as a classroom and seminar space, visitors can be welcomed only with prior arrangement.
Below is a description of the tours we are currently offering:
General Guided Tours
Guided Tours of approximately 60 minutes are offered by appointment during the week, as our schedule permits, or on weekends for larger groups, over 20. The public tours are designed specifically for the general public, including families. When the Center is not in use visitors may also do a self-guided tour by picking up the flyer from staff. We request a donation of $5.00 per person.
Professional Tours
Specialty tours for professional groups and college level classes are available with senior staff. In addition to the "big picture," these tours are often very specific and technical in nature and last approximately two hours. Tours are available Monday through Friday by appointment. We request a donation of $10.00 per person, with a $80 minimum.
School Tours
School tours are available for grades K-12. These tours are approximately 60 minutes in duration and are available for a donation $2 per person, including the students and all accompanying adults, with a $25 minimum. School groups are required to provide one adult for every ten children. These adults are responsible for the students throughout the tour.
We welcome requests for tours, please contact our staff to discuss your needs. Email, etc@sonoma.edu . We hope to hear from you soon !
