The Sonoma State University Symphonic Chorus and Chamber Singers honor the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death with songs of celebration and praise by Giovanni Gabrieli, Heinrich Schütz, GF Handel, and Daniel Pinkham; settings of his texts by Thomas Morley, Matthew Harris, and George Shearing; and movements from Morten Lauridsen's stunning Lux Aeterna. The program will feature brass choir, chamber orchestra, and Schroeder Hall's exquisite Brombaugh Opus 9 organ.
