New Certificate Program In Tasting Room Management!

We are proud to announce that the Wine Business Program is now offering a Tasting Room Management Certificate through its professional development program. The certificate helps prepare tasting room staff to step up to more responsibility by taking courses in direct shipping, staffing, marketing, wine club management, data base management, sales, budgeting, and customer relationship management. This certificate requires the completion of 8 half day courses. The program can be completed in one semester, or at your own pace. It costs $1200 ($150 per half-day seminar).
Students must complete these 3 core courses:
- State Compliance for Direct Shipping
- Building a Profitable Wine Club
- Hospitality Management for the Tasting Room
Electives (choose 5):
- Wine Marketing Basics
- Marketing Wine as a Luxury Product
- Marketing to Millennials
- Managing Performance of Tasting Room Employees
- Technology in the Tasting Room
- Budgeting & Financial Planning for Your Winery
- Wine Blogging
- Intro to Vineyard and Winery Accounting, Finance and Tax
In addition to the above courses, we highly recommend completion of the Alcohol Beverage Control courses:
