Deborah Roberts

Deborah Roberts, R.N., Ed.D., is a professor and current chair of the Department of Nursing at Sonoma State University. Teaching for several years, she has expertise in pediatric, adult and geriatric nursing. She is also proficient in curriculum design and educational leadership. Dr. Roberts has taught students at all degree levels from ADN-PHD in acute care and community settings. Her courses have been in face-to-face and online environments. In addition, she is the Clinical Director for the Jewish Community Free Clinic serving the uninsured population since 2001 in the North Bay area.

Ali Myers

Ali Myers, RN, MA, CCRN-CSC is currently the Director of Education at Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa. She has worked as a Critical Care RN with specialties in Cardiac Surgery, IABP and CRRT. Ali is a former adjunct faculty at San Francisco State University and also has years of experience teaching as a preceptor in Critical Care. Ali's desire is to further strengthen and inspire new nurses to be confident, high functioning critical thinkers so that they can provide the best and safest care to patients.

Helen Cortopassi

Helen Cortopassi, B.S.N., R.N. is currently an Education Generalist for Santa Rosa Memorial and Petaluma Valley Hospitals. Her clinical background is mainly in Orthopedics/Neurology. She has been a clinical instructor for SRJC spending time at all three local Santa Rosa hospitals and Petaluma Valley. Helen is passionate about educating our new nurses, assuring our nurses have the tools to do their job and enlightening our high school community on health care careers.
