As Marketing Director, I am responsible for our publicity and publications, web design and technical support, promoting the university, designing systems for tracking our marketing activities, providing demographic analysis, coordinating various data bases, and supporting our online learning opportunities. In my spare time, I am a marketing, web consultant and label designer for various wineries and other private companies, work with the National Latina Business Women Association and have assisted on various projects in Africa.

I graduated from the University of Oregon and enrolled in a Master's Program in Public Affairs. I've worked in the fields of advertising, marketing, design, copy writing for newspaper, magazine and television, illustration and interior design for over 25 years. I have also worked for the City of Eugene Planning and Parks & Recreation Department in Oregon, where I was involved in numerous projects including the design of two city streets in the downtown area. I also have a background in accounting and worked as an auditor for companies and resorts.

In my free time I sail, hike, swim, kayak, snorkel, fly fish, and have even learned to play the exciting game of polo on horseback. And, on occasion, I pick up a novel I can't put down.
