Professional Development Seminars from Sonoma State's Wine Business Institute will nurture your wine business and your career. You may take the entire series and earn a Certificate in Tasting Room Management, or simply take individual courses according to your interests.
Tasting Room Management Certificate
The Tasting Room Management Certificate helps prepare you for more responsibility--you'll take courses in direct shipping, staffing, marketing, wine club management, data base management, sales, budgeting, and customer relationship management.
The Tasting Room Management Certificate requires the completion of eight half day courses, which can be completed in one semester or at your own pace. The fee is $150 per course.
Students wishing to complete the Certificate can choose any five electives, but must complete the three core courses:
- Introduction to Tasting Room Management
- Current and Upcoming Winery Compliance Issues
- Building a Profitable Wine Club
