File Review Processing Timeline for Fall 2012 Verification

We have begun reviewing files for First-time freshman who paid the enrollment reservation deposit and other new admits to SSU for Fall 2012 and for continuing who submitted all of their To Do List items by 05/16/12. If you see the "Review in process" item in your To Do List, your verification documents will be reviewed by the Due Date. The review may result in additional To Do List items being assigned to you. If this happens, you will receive an email notification and you will see the items in your To Do List.

California Dream Act Gives State Grant Eligibility to AB 540 Students Beginning Spring 2013

Students determined eligible for a waiver of non-resident tuition under AB 540—and not already eligible for state and federal financial aid—will soon be eligible to apply for state grant aid under AB 131. CA Dream Act does not affect eligibility for federal aid.

The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) expects to make an on-line application available on 04/02/12. Visit CSAC's California Dream Act of 2011 now for important information, and be sure to return to the page on 04/02/12 to complete the application if you are an AB 540 student not already eligible for state and federal financial aid.

For Spring 2013, eligible CA Dream Act students may receive the CSU's State University Grant. Beginning January 2013, CA Dream Act students can also complete an application for the 2013-2014 Cal Grant program. Cal Grants will be awarded to CA Dream Act students for attendance in the Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 semesters.

Late Drop-in Counseling

Late financial aid drop-in counseling will be available on Wednesdays from 5-7pm for Spring 2012.
