Date Financial Aid Event
August 20 Last day to totally withdraw from the University for Fall 2007 and receive a full refund of registration fees.
August 21 First day of Fall 2007 classes; Students begin to receive financial aid checks. See Disbursements.
September 5 Last day to add/drop a Fall 2007 class (a dropped class means no "W" on your transcript).
September 5 Financial aid freeze date for Fall 2007. Students may be billed for grant overpayments due to changes in enrollment. See Changes in Enrollment & Award Amount.
September SSU Scholarship Applications available for the 2008-09 school year. For information on applying for scholarships, please go to the SSU Scholarship Office web site.
October 29 Last day to completely withdraw from the University for the Fall 2007 semester with a pro-rated refund of registration fees.
October 30 No refund of Fall 2007 registration fees on or after this date.
November 9 Last day to officially withdraw from the University for Fall 2007. If students withdraw unofficially, they will receive grades of WU or NC.
January 8 Satisfactory Academic Progress evaluated for the Fall 2007 semester. Grades of I, F, NC, W, WU, AU, RD, and grades with an * are not counted as units completed. See Satisfactory Academic Progress.
January 15 Last day to submit SSU scholarship applications for 2008-09. For information on applying for scholarships, please go to the SSU Scholarship Office web site.
January 25 Last day to totally withdraw from the University for Spring 2008 and receive a full refund of registration fees.
January 28 First day of classes for Spring 2008. Students begin to receive financial aid checks.
January 31 Early applicant filing date to complete the Fall 2008 and Spring 2008 FAFSA application process for financial aid consideration.
February 8 Last day to add/drop a Spring 2008 class (a dropped class means no "W"; on your transcript).

March 2 Priority deadline filing date to complete the 2008-09 FAFSA application process for financial aid consideration. Deadline to file a Cal Grant GPA verification forms for consideration of a new Cal Grant.

April 4 No refund of Spring 2008 registration fees on or after this date.
