The Berkeley Language Center (BLC)

In addition to serving as a resource center for all language teachers on the U.C. Berkeley campus, it also sponsors a lecture series featuring speakers on a variety of topics in language pedagogy, second language acquisition, and applied linguistics. Lecture schedule is also available.

 

UC Consortium for Language Learning and Teaching

The consortium fosters collaboration among and across the language programs at the UC campuses with an eye to increasing student access to language study through a combination of the best classroom practices, technological enhancements and EAP programs.

 

National Foreign Language Resource Centers

The U.S. Department of Education funds nine National Foreign Language Resource Centers across the country, established to improve and enrich the nation's foreign language capacity.
