Get To Know Us, Community

Sonoma State University offers more than just classes. Many campus activities are open to the public, including athletic events, most lectures, summer classes, children’s camps, and music, theatre and dance productions. And the park-like setting of the campus with beautiful lawns, trees, lakes and lush foliage is perfect for a weekend stroll.

When people visit campus, they are quickly impressed with its physical beauty. Then they learn all it has to offer— from lifelong learning classes to performances and distinguished speakers—and they become eager to take part in the richness of the campus.
