Yes. Any Geography faculty member can serve as your advisor. In general, we advise particular concentrations:

  • Environment and Society: Rheyna Laney
  • Biophysical Environment: Dorothy Freidel
  • Geospatial Techniques: Matthew Clark
  • Globalization and Cultural Identity: Ian Feinhandler

If you choose not to follow a particular concentration, any faculty member can serve as your advisor

For B4, we recommend Math 165: Introduction to Statistics

For D5, we recommend Geog302: World Regional Geography

Geog490: Senior Seminar

There is high demand for Geog487: Advanced GIS, and in this case, Geography majors are given preference
