Point Reyes Conglomerate, with rounded pebbles of quartz, chert and volcanic rocks. The purple passionate porphyry in the center is 140 my old and originated in a Sierra Nevada volcano. Identical rocks occur in the Carmelo Fm south of Monterey at Point Lobos, off set some 90 miles along the San Gregario Fault (see Clark, Brabb, Greene and Ross, 1984)
