Pete Gang

is a licensed Architect and former General Building Contractor with over 25 years of experience in residential and commercial building. In addition to running an architectural practice, Common Sense Design, he has led over 25 classes and workshops in straw-bale building and natural building at Real Goods Institute for Solar Living and elsewhere. He is an Advisory Board member of the California Straw Building Association and a founding board member of the Redwood Empire Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Bruce Hammond

is a general contractor with over 25 years in light commercial and custom residential construction. He is President & CEO of Hammond Fine Homes Inc., a Green Building & development company based in Cotati, California. He serves as the solar energy specialist on the City of Cotati Design Review Board and is a past Planning Commissioner. Bruce is  a member of the US Green Building Council , the Energy & Environmental Building Association, and is a LEED Accredited Professional and Energy Star Partner. He is the founding Chairman, and current Board Member of the Redwood Empire Chapter of the US Green Building Council.
