Professor Worth was named choral director for the Santa Rosa Symphony in 2002 where he directs the Honor Choir - which is assembled as needed for each project using singers from the SSU ensembles, local high schools, and from the community. He created the Sonoma County Choral Society which serves SSU students and community members who wish to better their singing, music reading and performance skills.

Professor Worth began his teaching career at SSU over 24 years ago after completing his degree in musicology at U.C. Berkeley. He directs three choral ensembles at Sonoma State: the SSU Chorus, the Sonoma County Bach Choir, and the Chamber Singers.
