Campus Housing Features
When you stay at a hotel you are given access to certain amenities, which are included in the nightly rate. Sometimes this can be items like privileges to the swimming pool and spa, cable television, dial-up internet access, workout equipment, vending machines, continental breakfast, small general store, in-room refrigerator, maid service, room service and replacement linens.
We like to think that our Residential Community operates much like a five star hotel accommodation without the daily housekeeping, fresh linens and towels, and in-room food service. What is included in the contracted rate for the year are the amenities listed below:
- Two swimming pools and spas located in the Zinfandel and Beaujolais Villages
- Fully furnished suites with living room and bedroom furniture.
- Recreational areas throughout the Community for individual or group play.
- Very close proximity to the brand new 59,000 square foot Campus Recreation Center with gymnasiums for basketball, volleyball and indoor soccer and a climbing wall.
- Zinfandel Marketplace, a small convenience store, located in the Zinfandel Village sells food, beverages, school supplies, household items, and is one of the Dining Dollars venues.
- United States Post Office, next to the Marketplace, receives packages and mail from a variety of carriers for our residents. Stamps and other mail delivery methods are also available there.
- High-speed network access active in each bedroom and telephone jacks in bedroom and living room for local phone service.
- Residential Suites are equipped with a 2.9 cubic foot refrigerator in the living room. Our eight and nine person Gravenstein Suites are stocked with two refrigerators.
- One main Dining Hall with made to order grilled items, soup and sald bar, vegetarian and on-vegetarian menus. Required meal plan offers several eating establishments with convenient long hours and the flexibility of a Dining Dollars cash card.
- Vending and laundry machines conveniently located throughout community with 24 hour access.
- All inclusive utilities, such as water, garbage, electricity, internet, and local phone service.
- Minutes away from the innovative Jean and Charles Schulz Information Center, which contains the University Library and Information Technology with state-of-art services in computing, media and telecommunications.
- University Police centrally located in the Residential Community to ensure the best security and safety for all residents.
- Unlimited social, cultural, and educational programming events and workshops.
