Presently Enrolled SSU Students

During your attendance at SSU, you can apply to live on-campus regardless of your class level. Even those students who have lived on campus in the past and moved off are welcomed to apply for future semesters.

Students Attending Classes & Not Living On Campus

Students who are presently attending SSU are notified towards the end of the Spring semester for Fall housing and mid November for Spring housing. If you are interested in campus housing download the Presently Enrolled Housing Request (pdf) form and either mail, FAX, or bring it to the Housing Services office, located in Zinfandel Hall. Even if you took a semester off from attending SSU and are coming back, you can fill out the Housing Request form.

Priority is based on the date Housing Services receives your Housing Request form.

Once you submit a Housing Request, you will receive an acknowledgement notifying you that you are on the wait list. Sometime in early June, another letter will be mailed that will update you as to your status on the wait list.

Accommodations and Special Living Areas

Campus housing is available to students who are presently enrolled at the University, but live off-campus. Whether you are a continuing freshman or a senior, living on-campus is definitely an option for you. You can also return to campus housing at anytime, as long as you have not had previous disciplinary sanctions resulting in loss of housing.
