Entertainment

  • Green Music Center
    The Green Music Center is a program of Sonoma State University, and presents year-round programming through the MasterCard Performance Series, a collection of premiere classical, vocal, jazz, and world music concerts — to which employees receive a 20% discount. The centerpiece venue, Weill Hall, also hosts the Santa Rosa Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, and dozens of student and faculty performances through the Music Department.   • Sonoma Film Institute 
    Each year, between September and May, SFI presents more than fifty films. These screenings — ranging from silent cinema to the avant-garde, from contemporary American fare to films from the Third World — expand the educational opportunities to students, as well as providing cultural benefit to the campus and surrounding community.
  • Sonoma State University Library Art Gallery
    Using a variety of locations within the Jean and Charles Schulz Information Center, people come together to share ideas through art, lectures, and discussions. 
  • SSU's Center for Performing Arts
    The center manages five performance venues on campus plus sponsors on and off campus performances by University performing arts groups as well as guest artist series.
