Professional Development and Well-Being Sessions
Sessions will be offered at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Sign-ups will start at 8:00 a.m. inside The Kitchens. Please check back soon for a list of sessions!
The theme is “Photobombs” – referring to the action of spoiling a photograph (of a person or thing) by unexpectedly appearing in the camera’s field of view as the picture is taken (typically as a prank) or a photo that has been spoiled by the unexpected appearance of the unintended subject as the picture is taken.
Look through your photos and find a few favorites that you would love to share. All photos submitted will be on display in The Kitchens. For additional entry details please view the 2015 Photo Contest Flyer (pdf). The deadline to submit photos to firstname.lastname@example.org is Friday, May 15, 2015.
Books, Movies, and Music Swap
On the morning of Staff Appreciation Day, stop by the table outside The Kitchens to drop off your books, CDs, and DVDs and exchange them for something that interests you. All items remaining at the end of the day will be donated to a local community program.
*NEW – Appreciation Station
Is there someone on campus you are dying to show your appreciation to? Stop by the Appreciation Station on Staff Appreciation Day to create a special Appreciation-Gram for anyone on campus. Supplies will be available, just bring your creativity! Appreciation-Grams will be delivered Friday, May 22, 2015.
Entry for Door Prize Drawing
You will receive your ticket for the door prize drawing when you pick up your name tag at check-in (so be sure to RSVP!). Need not be present to win.
Please RSVP by May 15, 2015 to email@example.com to confirm your attendance at the buffet breakfast and lunch. Be sure to include which meals you will be attending, your preferred name (if applicable), and your department for your name tag.
