Applause Awards Program
Do you remember when you were knee-deep in work with the waters rising fast, and your co-worker came to your rescue? Did you wonder what you could do to say thank you? The answer has been here all along; the famous Applause Award Program!
The Applause Award Program provides all employees with the ability to nominate an employee who demonstrates behavior which exemplifies performance related to the program criteria. Nominations for the program may be made by any member of the SSU community.

- Cost Effective
- Improves Efficiency
- Improves Safety
- Enhances the Quality of Life at SSU
Applause is appropriate when an employee:
- Goes beyond the call of duty
- Assists without being asked
- Completes a task in a manner that allows others to more easily complete their work
How to Nominate
Complete the Nomination Form and submit it. Nominations are accepted continually.
