Collaborative College Assistant Migrant Program
Who Can Apply?

To be eligible to participate in the Collaborative CAMP program,
either the student or the parent/guardian must:

  • be a seasonal or migrant farm worker, OR
  • participated in/be eligible to participate in the Migrant Education Program, OR
  • participated in the Workforce Investment Act-Section 167

"Seasonal farm worker" means a person who, within the past 24 months was employed for at least 75 days in farm work, and whose primary employment was in farm work on a temporary or seasonal basis (that is, not a constant year-round activity). "Migrant farm worker" means a person whose employment required travel that prevented him or her from returning to his or her home within the same day.

  • In addition, you must have:
  • U.S. residency documentation,
  • a high school diploma or a G.E.D.,
  • show financial need,
  • be admitted with freshman status AND enroll full-time (12 units) at Sonoma State University, Napa Valley College, or Santa Rosa Junior College.
