Eco/Eco:
Thematic Curriculum for High School Economics.

The project will be a compartmentalized but comprehensive semester curriculum matching California state standards but geared towards an environmental studies pathway. The class will take a standard economics curriculum and revise it to be thematically oriented towards environmental and social sustainability. The content will be focused on true cost and accounting in relation to ecological principles and solutions oriented.

I plan to have initial drafts completed this summer with some peer review for a final approval in Fall '03. Or, at least, that's the idea. The class will likely run in the '04-'05 school year, assuming board approval and student interest. It will be an elective choice to satisfy a mandated class.
