Who Else is Involved
with Student Congress

The Congressional Seminar is facilitated by students from SSU. It consists of students in the various high schools who are interested in discussing their thoughts and ideas as well as current social issues and policies and want to participate in leadership activities.

High school teachers allow a number of their students to participate in these weekly seminar discussions. In these seminars participants address specific issues or readings. Congressstudents report to and receive information from the Congressional seminar(s).

Every Congresstudent has a Congressional Staff to support their policy making. This includes not only the Advisory Board but also students and faculty from Community Colleges and Sonoma State University, as well as professionals and business people, parents, school teachers and administrators.
