What We Do

The Information Technology Help Desk has been designed to be the single point of contact and the central source for help with and for information about computing and information technology at SSU.

Services provided to Staff...

  • Troubleshoot Seawolf ID login issues (PeopleSoft, campus email, Moodle)
  • Reset password for Seawolf ID
  • Troubleshoot connectivity to the SSU network
  • Provide set up instructions for campus email accounts
  • Provide virus protection for state tagged computers
  • Create web accounts
  • Resolve hardware problems on IT certified/supported/state tagged computers
  • Resolve application failures on IT certified/supported/state tagged computers
  • Install IT Certified applications on state tagged computers
  • Attempt to remove minor viruses and spyware
  • Troubleshoot connectivity to the SSU wireless network
  • Process all campus phone and network work requests
  • Provide basic support for common applications
  • Process scantron tests
  • Process SETE forms
  • Schedule and provide support for the University's videoconferencing room.
