Installing Meeting Maker 8.6 on Mac OS X

Before you begin, you will need to know your Meeting Maker username and password and you will need to have administrative access to your computer.

  1. Open your Applications folder on your computer.

  2. Drag the current meetingmaker folder to the trash.

  3. Download MeetingMaker 8.6 for Mac OS X to your desktop.

  4. Double click on the OSX_MeetingMaker86.zip.

  5. Drag the meetingmaker folder to your Applications folder.

  6. Open the meetingmaker folder that you just moved.

  7. Double click on the Meeting Maker Calendar program.

  8. If you are upgrading from a previous version, the following fields should already be filled out.

  9. Click Select button for the Server.

  10. A popup panel with 3 boxes will appear.
    • Click the configure button.
    • If not already there, type in mm.sonoma.edu and click OK.
    • Change the drop down menu labeled "Protocol" to "SSL".
    • Verify that the "Select Zone" box says "Network Wide".
    • Verify that the "Select Server" box says "sonoma-mm" and click once on the "sonoma-mm".
    • Click the "Select" Button at the bottom of the panel.
  1. Enter your username and password and click the "Sign In" button.
