Installing Meeting Maker 8.6 on Windows 2000/XP

Before you begin, you will need to know your Meeting Maker username and password and you will need to have administrative access to your computer.

  1. Download Meeting Maker 8.6 for Windows to your desktop.
  2. Double click on the zip file and run the setup.exe.
  3. The installer will launch, simply click the "next" button for each panel that comes up during the installation.
  4. If you sync a PalmPilot with Meeting Maker you will also get a dialog box asking if you wish the Installer to stop and restart the "Hot Sync Manager". Click the "yes" button to accept this option. If you don't use a PalmPilot you will not see this dialog box.
  5. Once the installation is finishaed, launch Meeting Maker and you will see the login panel. On the login panel there is a "select" buttons for selecting the Meeting Maker server.
  6. Click Select for the Server.
    A popup panel with 3 boxes will appear.
    • Change the first box, labeled "Protocol" to "SSL".
    • Verify that the "Select Zone" box says "Network Wide".
    • Verify that the "Select Server" box says "Sonoma-mm".
    • Click the "Select" Button at the bottom of the panel.
  7. Enter your username and password and click the "Sign In" button.
  8. Your schedule will now download.
