The Information Technology Help Desk is available to answer questions, resolve problems, and provide information about computer use and information technology at Sonoma State University. This organization has been designed to be the single point of contact and the central source for help with and for information about computing and information technology at SSU.
For Staff & Faculty...
- Troubleshoot SeaWolf ID login issues (PeopleSoft, campus email, WebCT)
- Reset password for SeaWolf ID (In person with a photo ID)
- Troubleshoot connectivity to the SSU network
- Provide set up instructions for campus email accounts
- Provide virus protection for state tagged computers
- Provide Windows update services for state tagged computers
- Create web accounts
- Reset web account password (In person with a photo ID)
- Resolve hardware problems on IT certified/supported/state tagged computers
- Resolve application failures on IT certified/supported/state tagged computers
- Install IT Certified applications on state tagged computers
- Attempt to remove minor viruses and spyware
- Troubleshoot connectivity to the SSU wireless network on state tagged computers
- Process all campus phone and network work requests
- Provide basic phone support for common applications
- Process scantron tests
- Process SETE forms
For Students...

- Troubleshoot connectivity to the SSU wireless network
- Process campus phone work requests
- Provide basic phone support for common applications
