Servers scheduled for maintenance - evening of November 1st
Affected Users: Users of web services, email, meetingmaker, WebCT and other services
On the evening of November 1st (Thursday) from 5:30pm to 11:00pm, we will be performing maintenance on a number of systems.
Services that will be affected with some intermittent connectivity and/or timeouts:
- www.sonoma.edu, www.projectcensored.org and most other campus websites
- LIFT accessibility transcription
- Logging into PeopleSoft
- WebCT
- Oracle databases
- Footprints
- Ripple cable database
- RMS
- Resource 25
- hershey
- meetingmaker
- MySQL databases
- Sending and receiving email will be slow for a few minutes
- ESAS web applications on woodstock
- Hisoft
- https://tools.sonoma.edu/
- Password changes, updating whitepages entries (and other writes to LDAP)
Services that may experience downtime or slowness, but most users shouldn't notice anything:
- DNS
- DHCP (ssu-mystre and ssu-dyloot)
- IMAP
- POP
- LDAP
- https://ldaps.sonoma.edu/
