Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
SSU/IT is preparing to install Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 on Windows-based computers covered under Geoteam support or which have a Solar domain account to access SSU's Windows file share.
The software will be automatically installed on the evening of Tuesday, July 15 without requiring you to do anything. Please be sure to leave your computer on that night. You do not have to be logged in.
Internet Explorer 7 is certified for use with PeopleSoft and should work without issue. If you are someone who does financial reporting in PeopleSoft that opens in Excel, there are a couple of setting you will have to change after Internet Explorer installs. SSU/IT has created a short instructional video and some written instructions on how to change the settings.
Internet Explorer 7 is also certified for use with WebCT.
