This will affect all campus web authors.
The main campus web server, www.sonoma.edu (also known as SSU Web Machine), will be migrated to a new server platform next week. Appleshare and FTP access to the web server will be disabled 8:00 a.m. Monday, January 7. On Thursday, January 10, web services for all departmental and individual faculty/staff pages will cut over to the new server.
Pages in the students, clubs and classes directories will remain on SSU Web Machine, but the student web server will be called www.students.sonoma.edu. Appleshare and FTP access to these directories on www.students.sonoma.edu will be restored on January 10.
Pending requests for new accounts on both servers will be completed on January 11.
