This will affect webmail, all local databases (not CMS), and FootPrints.
Correction: the previous announcement incorrectly stated the outage was to occur on Wednesday, January 5. It should have stated Thursday, January 5.
Some servers are scheduled to be down for maintenance Thursday evening, January 5, from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The services affected will be:
- Logins to Webmail
- FootPrints trouble ticket system
- All Oracle databases (including Alumni database, R25, RMS, EdenOA, EdenOA Datawarehouse, Ripple, Tsunami, IT IO Board, and SMARTS)
- Possible intermittent access to email
- Big Brother monitoring system
- the two DHCP servers named ssu-mars and ssu-andyw
