Did you know there are legal requirements for the accessiblity of university web content? Did you know that making web content accessible to disabled users makes it more accessible for everyone else?

Barbara Moore (Information Technology) and Christine Hayes (University Library) are offering a training session on "Making Accessible Web Pages." This three-hour training will cover the basics of web accessibility, including:
-why accessibility is important
-applicable laws and policies
-Section 508 standards
-how to test & fix your pages

Who should attend this training?
-Faculty who put course materials on the web.
-Employees who maintain school, department and program web sites.
-Students who maintain club, fraternity and sorority pages.

Dates: Friday October 14 or Friday, December 9
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 pm
