Is there a way to export my roster as a spreadsheet without including members who are unenrolled or denied access?
- In the Grade Book, pick the view that shows the columns you want to export (Grades, Members, View All or Custom).
- At the bottom right of the page, pull down the Page menu and select the All option, then click the green arrow Go button. Now you should see all the students, including those who have been denied access and unenrolled.
- In the top left corner of the grade book table, in the heading row, click the checkbox in the first column. This will cause all the checkboxes in that column to be checked.
- Uncheck the checkboxes next to the names of the students who have been denied access or unenrolled.
At the bottom of the page, click the Export to Spreadsheet button. A new page will display. In the new page, leave the Members to export>Selected members button selected.
Pick the options for Columns, Format and Character Set (I recommend UTF-8). - Click Export. The spreadsheet will download to your computer. Depending on the browser and configuration of your computer you may be prompted to save the file, or it might download and open automatically.
- Once the file is downloaded, you can open Excel (or some other spreadsheet program) and give the File>Open command to select your roster. It will be named "exportedcourse.txt" and will probably be on your desktop
