How do I import quiz questions from one of my WebCT6 courses into another?



Before you are able to import questions into your course, you must first export the questions from another WebCT course.

  1. Enter the course where you have questions you want to export and go to the Build tab.
  2. Click Go to Question Database.

  1. In the question database, select the check boxes to the left of the questions you want to export.
  2. Click Export Questions.

  1. WebCT will then create a .zip file of the questions.
  2. In the save menu, select the My Files tab and save the file there. This will allow you to access the file from other WebCT courses.
  3. Now go into the WebCT course where you want to import the questions. Under the Build tab, click Manage Course.
  4. Select Import.
  5. Browse the My Files tab for the .zip file created earlier, select the file and click OK. WebCT will then automatically add the questions to the Question Database.
