Read the Pamphlet
Web accounts are set up as you wait by the Help Desk. Before you leave, the Helpdesk staff will give you a phamplet with your username, password, directory path, and other information you need for uploading your files using a WebDAV client.

Create Your Pages
- You web page can be created on any platform
and using any web page editor you like.
If you would like to use an authoring tool/web page editor, the Web Office recommends and supports Dreamweaver. Limited support is offered for Mozilla Composer, Microsoft Word and other a few other editors. The Web Office can provide troubleshooting assistance for HTML, regardless of the application used to create it. - Name your files appropriately.
See related FAQ: How should I name my files? Are there any restrictions? - Each of your web pages should include the date modified and a link to your email address or a contact form. This is typically included at the bottom or footer area of the page.
- Upload your page to your directory on one of the campus web servers.

Release Your Pages
When you are ready to release your web page to the public, make sure it's linked to from other University pages. Contact the Web Office to add a link on any of these pages:
