Q. Why can't I open any folders in Dreamweaver's Remote Site view?
A. Dreamweaver MX 2004 version 7.0 has a bug which made users unable to open subdirectories in the WebDAV Remove Site view. Users can see the subdirectories in their sites but can't open them.
Installing the Updater for Dreamweaver MX 2004 version 7.01 will fix this bug.
Unfortunately, the updater also introduces a new problem. Version 7.01 is unable to upload entire sites or subdirectories with the Put and Check-in commands. Files can be uploaded, though, and Dreamweaver will upload to the correct subdirectory and make new subdirectories automatically as needed.
The Web Office is working with Macromedia to find the cause of the bug and fix it.
