Workstation Sercurity and Services (WSS)
Mission
Workstation Sercurity and Services provides desktop system and hardware support and general software support to the SSU campus community. Service is provided to the campus through a three way support strategy :
- The IT Helpdesk provides phone and walk-in support to all faculty, staff, and students. On site assistance is offered where appropriate to staff and faculty.
- GeoTeam provides direct support to client groups participating in the SSUITE program and to participants of the campus wide computer replacement program.
- The IT Computer Shop provides a wide range of hardware and systems
support to all faculty and staff on campus. Additionally, the IT Computer
Shop provides second level support to the IT Helpdesk and GeoTeam when
further diagnostic or problem solving resources are required to resolve
specific problems.
