| Lesson Objective (Psychomotor and/or Cognitive): |
Students develop coordination of moves and use them in a dance. |
||||
| Teaching Hints: |
This is such a fun dance for the students, and sometimes they enjoy making up the moves for the counts where you snap fingers and stomp foot (4 counts). Let them be creative with those counts after they have the dance mastered. Dance can be done to lots of different music. Students should be able to see demonstrations and hear instructions at all times. The teacher may have to move around the room to get to all students and make sure they all learn each move. |
