This is an activity that all students love, so let them have fun with it and maybe even make up new moves or add-ons!

You can also split them up in groups and have them practice it together and then perform for the class at the end of the lesson.

Description:

The students should be in lines facing the same direction for this dance.

Counts 1-4: Grapevine Right - clap on 4

Counts 5-8: Grapevine Left - clap on 4

Counts 1-2: Step with Right foot and "pump" elbows back twice

Counts 3-4: Step with Left foot and "pump" elbows back twice

Counts 5-6: Step with Right foot and "pump" elbows back twice

Counts 7-8: Step with Left foot and "pump" elbows back twice

Counts 1-2: Jump ¼ turn to the right

Counts 3 4: Jump ½ turn to the left

Counts 5-8: Jump three ¼ turns to the right (should be facing opposite direction.)

Repeat the dance.
