| Teaching Hints: |
Students must be urged to keep themselves in control while moving in the tag area. |
||||
| Description: | |||||
|
This is a fast moving activity that gets students going. Everybody is it so students are trying to run away from others. There are boundaries that can't be crossed unless they've been tagged. If one student tags another, the tagged student must leave the boundaries and do some kind of physical activity, i.e., jumping jacks. If two students tag each other at the same time, they are both out. This game is over when there are only two people left in the tag area. The game goes fast so students don't have to wait long to start again. |

| Alternatives/Modifications |
According to the level of the class the space can be larger or smaller to give students more running space. As a change up, locomotor activities can be changed, i.e., from running to skipping etc. |
