Description:

Place students into teams of 4 and direct them to stand as a team at a polyspot in lines of 2 along the center line of the court or space facing the upside down bucket.

  1. On the signal, the two line leaders from each team jump toward the upside down bucket and get into push-up position with one player on each side of the bucket. One player will be on the side where the bean bags have been places and the other player will be on the zero bean bag side of the buckets.
  2. The bean bag side player, in push-up position, picks up one bean bag at a time with his/her right hand and stacks each bean bag on top of the bucket. The partner player (also in push-up position) unstacks bean bags as rapidly as possible (right hand only) and places them very close to the bucket. When the task is complete, both players run back to the start and tag teammates, and they repeat the task. Each team will relay 2 times and count that as one round.
  3. While the 2 teammates jump in one direction toward the buckets and bean bags, the 2 remaining teammates jump in the other direction to the court sideline and perform 3 push-ups or other task. They return to the center line to wait their turn at the bean bag stacking activity.
