Teaching Hints:

Description:
  1. Students start out at a station and get an addition or subtraction problem.
  2. If they answer the problem correctly, then they do the “reward for your body.”(5 sit ups, jumping jacks etc.) Then they go to the next station.
  3. At the next station they repeat the process all over again.
Alternatives/Modifications

use double digit problems or multiplication for older kids.

use classmates to run the stations and check for correct answers.

use index cards to mark correct tally marks so kids don't have to carry around a lot of tokens.
