| Teaching Hints: |
|
| Description: |
- Divide the class into 4 relay lines. Put 5-6 cones in front of each team line. Spread the cones out depending on your age level.
- The first player on each team starts rolling the team's dice and adding up the numbers, keeping a running total.
- Once a player reaches 20 then they are allowed to go. The last # they rolled to get to 20 on their die is the 3 of cones that they must race through.
- While racing through the cones they must also be either dribbling a basketball or kicking a soccer ball.
|
| Alternatives/Modifications |
- As soon as the first person starts through the cones the next player is allowed to start rolling the die.
- You could just have the younger kids run to the cones and eliminate the ball handling aspect.
- game can be modified to use multiplication or division
