KSUN is a student-run radio station located on the Sonoma State Campus. The station has existed for quite some time in various different forms but is currently a world wide internet-only radio station.

KSUN's music policy is to focus on independent and underground artists who cannot be heard via the mainstream media. If you're looking to hear that new "Maroon 5" single, KSUN is probably not your station!

However, our library of music spans a variety of genres, including punk, metal, hip hop, electronic, jazz, and indie rock, to name a few. Each DJ is free to specialize in whichever genres they please, or even play them all!

KSUN tries to take a common-sense approach to DJ conduct. We have two somewhat contradictory goals: to provide a professionally produced broadcast at the same time as encouraging independent, potentially contraversial views and viewpoints. We think we generally do a good job of striking a balance between the two.

KSUN does not censor or otherwise restrict the music we play. Good music is good music, despite the naughty words that may occasionally show up.

KSUN is for students enrolled in Coms385, and may be taken for anywhere between 1-4 units depending on the length the individual has been part of KSUN.
