TECHNOLOGY DROP-IN SERIES: All located in the Digital Lab (Schulz 2016C). No sign up needed; SSU student, staff and faculty only.

iMovie: 1 hour; Covers program functionality, importing footage, editing and exporting final project to DVD, as well as the use of audio, special effects, and music.

iDVD: 1 hour; Covers basic DVD authoring, including adding chapter breaks, titles, and themes to DVDs for final output.

Scanning: 1/2 hour; Covers basic scanning principles, including appropriate image size and resolution, for preparing images for use in multimedia projects and applications.

Photoshop Basics: 1 hour; Covers the basics of Photoshop as a tool for editing and making images ready for the web or print. Covers the Photoshop interface, graphic types, file types, resolution and basic image manipulation.

Powerpoint: 1 hour; Covers higher end program functionality such as text animation, adding sound and music, transitions, adding images, and managing file sizes.

RESEARCH DROP-IN SERIES: All located in Schulz 2016A; No sign up needed

Articles, Books & Beyond: 45-min; Covers strategies for navigating Library resources to find articles, books, movies, and more. Included are tips on how to log-in from home, email articles, and order books from other libraries.

TECHNOLOGY SIGN-UP WORKSHOPS: All located in Digital Lab (Schulz 2016C). Sign up required; SSU student, staff and faculty only.

  • Intermediate Dreamweaver: 2 hours; Covers creating a Cascading Style Sheet with Dreamweaver, as well as web accessibility issues.
  • PREREQUISITE: This workshop is intended for those who are already comfortable using Dreamweaver.
