LSS Study Lab/Computer Lab
Math 35/45 Study Lab
The Math 35/45 Study Lab provides drop-in tutoring support to students enrolled in Math 35 or Math 45, with a priority given to LSS (Learning Skills) eligible students. The lab offers help on algebra homework and concepts from highly qualified tutors present during these drop-in hours to assist students with worksheets, activities, homework, and conceptual problems.
Location: Salazar 1040 near the Computer Lab
Hours: 11 am to 3 pm Monday through Thursday
Tutors are math and science majors or students with other math/science backgrounds who are versatile with algebra and related concepts including geometry. Tutors also have some familiarity with the TI 83/84 calculator and can help students navigate operations commonly used on these and similar calculators.

Learning Skills Computer Lab
The Learning Skills Computer Lab has a limited number of computers that are on a first come first-served bases for current LSS participants. A scanner, fax machine, and color deskjet printer are also available in the lab.
Location: Salazar 1040 (Right of the Reception Area)
Hours: 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday
Do's:
- Enjoy free printing for educational projects (up to 25 pages per project per day).
- Enjoy your food in the reception area as food is not allowed in the computer lab.
- Be kind and respectful of others and try to keep the noise level down as others are working.
Don't's:
- Use the lab for non-academic purposes such as watching videos, listening to music, visiting social networking sites (such as facebook, myspace, etc.).
