Northlight Books, an independent bookseller in Cotati, has this advice for students looking to save money on books:
"Know the isbn of the edition you're looking for, always choose "expedited shipping" or "media upgrade" This will cost a few dollars more, and shifts the book from media mail to priority mail and it will be shipped in 3-6 days instead of 1 to 4 weeks. Best sites are addall.com, half.com, and amazon, in that order. Check your e-mail for confirmation that the book has been shipped- or track it online on the website you used."
