The Reilly French Scholarship was recently created to help support French majors dedicated to the pursuit of French studies beyond the completion of their BA at Sonoma State University. Dr. William Reilly and his wife, Maria, both ardent francophiles and eloquent speakers of French, have taken action to share their passion for the French language and culture by financially supporting the efforts of students interested in pursuing French studies.
The Reilly French Scholarship provides funding to a declared French major intending to pursue a PhD in French and/or career goals involving working internationally and within the French culture. The scholarship will be awarded for the 2014-2015 academic year. Scholarship recipients will be selected and notified by January 2015.
The deadline for submitting an application and supporting documentation is December 12, 2014. Applications post marked by the due date are acceptable. Submit all materials to the Scholarship Office, located in Stevenson 1050, before 4:30 PM. Mailing address is Sonoma State University, Scholarship Office, 1801. E.
