Concert Locations

Evert B. Person Theatre
A state-of-the-art 475-seat proscenium theatre, is adjacent to Ives Hall in the southeastern area of campus. Entering campus from East Cotati Avenue, turn right at the stop sign and then left into Parking Lot E.
Donald and Maureen Green Music Center (GMC)
Located at the north entrance to campus, off Rohnert Park Expressway and just west of Petaluma Hill Road. Parking is available in Lots O and L. The GMC complex includes:
  • Joan and Sanford I. Weill Hall
  • Music Education Hall
  • Hospitality Center and restaurant, "Prelude"
  • Schroeder Recital Hall
GMC 1028 in Music Education Hall
A temporary concert space until Schroeder's Recital Hall is completed. Enter campus from Rohnert Park Expressway, proceed past the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Hall, turn right into Parking Lot L, and go up the stairs to the double glass doors.
 
 
Warren Auditorium
A 200-seat proscenium auditorium, is located on the second floor of Ives Hall in the southeastern area of campus. Entering campus from East Cotati Ave., turn right at the stop sign, then left into Parking Lot E.

Parking

Effective January 1, 2013, parking permits will be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in all general, reserved and housing parking lots. Additionally, the daily rate for general parking permits will increase from $2.50 per day to $5 per day. The reserved parking daily rate will increase from $5 per day to $8.

Student, faculty and staff semester permits will not increase in price.

Music Department concerts are free of charge except for the following:

  • Faculty and Guest Artist Recitals. Ticket prices are $15 General Admission; $12 SSU Faculty, Alumni and Staff; $10 Seniors and Students.
  • Symphonic Chorus, Chamber Singers, Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Jazz Orchestra. Ticket prices are $15 General Admission; $12 SSU Faculty, Alumni and Staff; $10 Seniors and Students.
  • All events are Free of charge to SSU students with ID.

Admission to all thirteen concerts is $144 General; $120 Faculty, Alumni and Staff; and $96 Seniors and Students. Or pick any six for $75/$60/$42 - either way, a very substantial discount off the Single ticket price ($195/$156/$130).
