Want to know what's going on at Sonoma State University, but don't have the time to check our site daily? Sign up for a variety of subscriber options that bring the NewsCenter straight to you!
Add RSS Feed to Your Email
Use the RSS feature to quickly scan the day's headlines from your email account, and click on what interests you (see illustration above). By adding a NewsCenter RSS feed to your email account, you'll receive an automatic notice when new stories are posted to our website, or alerts when stories have been updated. All notices will automatically go to a special NewsCenter folder within your email program, not mixed in with your general inbox.
To add a NewsCenter RSS feed, find the "Connect" section on the NewsCenter homepage and look for the orange RSS button (in illustration at right, the rightmost button). Clicking the RSS button takes you to a new page, where you can choose subscriber options. From the drop-down box at the top of the screen, choose "Mail" to add an RSS feed to your email program.
You can also choose to receive NewsCenter announcements via Live Bookmarks. This feature simply adds a bookmark folder to your Internet browser, which lists new stories and announcments as they are posted to NewsCenter (see below).
