Watch the all-day webcast in the SSU Student Union Multipurpose Room
The second annual Latino Education and Advocacy Days Summit takes place at CSU San Bernardino on Monday, March 28 and features keynote speakers Arne Duncan, the U.S. Secretary of Education, and Dr. Thelma Melendez de Santa Ana, Assistant Secretary for Elementary and Secondary Education. Juan Sepúlveda, director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic American, will moderate one of the summit's panels.
The conference will be shown via a live webcast in the Student Union Multipurpose Room, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 28. All are welcome to attend for some, or all, of the webcast.
The webcast is part of President Obama's initiative to improve the education of Latino students. The goal is to double the participation of last year's nearly 184,000 viewers.
